Google has announced new, powerful agentic capabilities in its AI Mode within Google Search, aimed at making complex booking tasks easier and more efficient for users. The latest update allows users to book event tickets, as well as beauty and wellness appointments, directly through AI Mode by simply describing their preferences in natural language.
For example, users can say, “Find me two cheap tickets for the Shaboozey concert coming up. Prefer standing floor tickets.” AI Mode then conducts real-time searches across multiple ticketing websites, filters options according to user specifications like price and seating preference, and presents a curated list of available tickets. Users are linked directly to booking pages to finalize their purchase.
This new feature joins earlier agentic capabilities introduced in August, which let users book restaurant reservations with detailed preferences such as party size, date, time, location, and cuisine. For example, AI Mode can find dinner reservations for a specific number of people, preferred restaurants, and times, streamlining the booking process significantly.
Currently, these agentic capabilities are available to U.S. users who have opted into Google’s experimental Search Labs program. Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers benefit from higher usage limits, reflecting the premium nature of these advanced features. The system integrates data from multiple partners, including OpenTable, Resy, Tock, Ticketmaster, StubHub, SeatGeek, and Booksy, to provide a comprehensive and seamless booking experience.

Under the hood, AI Mode uses live web browsing capabilities, Google’s Knowledge Graph, and Google Maps to power these real-time, multi-site searches and actionable responses. Google emphasizes that while AI Mode aims to connect users with high-quality, reliable information to get things done efficiently, it remains an early experiment and may occasionally produce errors.
Since launching in March, AI Mode has expanded globally to over 180 countries and continues to gain new features. Recent additions include integration with Google Lens for desktop content analysis and a Canvas feature to assist with study planning over multiple sessions.
This development marks a significant step in Google’s vision of transforming Search from a query-answering tool into a more agentic assistant capable of performing tasks across various domains, helping users save time and effort in everyday activities such as making reservations, booking tickets, and scheduling appointments.
In summary, Google’s AI Mode now empowers users with intuitive, multi-site powered booking functionality for dining, events, and wellness services, accessible through natural language commands within Search Labs in the U.S., with plans for broader rollout and continued feature enhancements.
