After graduating with a BSc in Microbiology in 2019, Belema George started her career as a makeup artist. This creative outlet allowed her to help people feel confident and beautiful, but she soon realized that her true potential lay in tech. The turning point came in 2021 when she discovered UI/UX design. This blend of logic and creativity resonated with her, and she dedicated herself to learning and growing in the field.
Through bootcamps and training with Zuri and TechCreek, Belema honed her skills and landed her first international contract gig just six months into learning design. She continued to grow, working on open-source projects and collaborating with startups and design-focused companies. These experiences not only sharpened her skills but also gave her the confidence to pursue her passion.
