ServiceNow and Aramco Digital, the technology subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, have signed a collaboration agreement to deploy AI-powered workflows and accelerate enterprise transformation across the Aramco ecosystem. The deal was announced on 1 September 2026.
Under the agreement, Aramco Digital will use ServiceNow as a foundational platform to standardize and govern digital workflows across a network of affiliates, subsidiaries and joint ventures operating in more than 50 countries. The goal is to reduce process fragmentation, modernize enterprise operations and create a consistent AI-enabled foundation that can scale across the group.
ServiceNow, which processes more than 100 billion workflows annually for large enterprises, is positioned as the orchestration layer for this effort. The collaboration focuses on four interconnected domains, starting with AI-powered workflows that aim to automate processes, cut manual work and speed up execution across systems.
Aramco’s sprawling structure spanning energy operations, joint ventures and international entities presents significant challenges in maintaining consistent processes and governance. By adopting a single platform approach, Aramco Digital is seeking greater visibility, control and efficiency while embedding AI into core workflows.
The partnership aligns with broader digital and AI ambitions within Saudi Arabia’s energy sector and Vision 2030 initiatives. Aramco Digital has been expanding its technology partnerships in recent years, focusing on industrial AI, data infrastructure and enterprise modernization.
Implementation details, including specific timeline and scope of deployment across the affiliate network, were not fully disclosed in the initial announcement. Success will hinge on how effectively the platform integrates with existing systems, the quality of AI-driven automation delivered, and the ability to maintain governance standards across diverse operating environments.
For ServiceNow, the deal reinforces its role as an AI control tower for large, complex organizations. For Aramco Digital, it provides a structured route to unify digital workflows at scale. The collaboration marks another step in the energy giant’s push to embed AI more deeply into enterprise operations.
