Eterna Plc has announced the appointment of Dr. Jude Nwaulune as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company.
The lubricants manufacturer disclosed this in a statement filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) on Friday. Dr. Nwaulune is expected to assume office on May 14, 2026.
He takes over from Mr. Olumide Adeosun, who resigned as Managing Director on May 13, 2026. The company thanked Adeosun for his contributions and wished him success in his future endeavours.

Dr. Jude Nwaulune is a seasoned business executive with over 19 years of experience in Nigeriaโs downstream energy sector. Before joining Eterna, he served as Managing Director of Rainoil Logistics Services Limited.
He has a strong background in sales, marketing, business development, logistics, and operations management. The company noted that his expertise in petroleum retail expansion, LPG penetration, bulk storage management, and nationwide distribution made him the ideal choice for the role.
Dr. Nwaulune holds a Bachelorโs degree in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. He also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism (Public Relations and Advertising) from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism and a Masterโs degree in Marketing Communications from Babcock University. He holds a PhD in Strategic Marketing Management from the same institution.
He is a member of several professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, the Nigerian Institute of Marketing, and the Nigerian Institute of Management.
Retirement of Executive Director
The company also announced the retirement of Mrs. Phoebean Ifeadi as Executive Director, Corporate Services, with effect from May 13, 2026. She had been with the company since October 2021.
Eterna Plc thanked Mrs. Ifeadi for her dedicated service and contributions to strengthening the companyโs corporate framework.
This leadership change is expected to bring fresh strategies and renewed focus to Eterna Plc as it navigates the evolving Nigerian energy market.
