A Vision to Make AI Work for Everyone
Most people see AI as something technical, abstract, or out of reach. But for Afolabi Sokeye and the team at Wetrocloud, artificial intelligence has always been about one thing: making life and work easier for real people.
If you’d asked him six years ago, He wouldn’t have predicted that his work in technology would take him and his co-founders across the worlds of fintech, SaaS, and now, cutting-edge AI. But at the center of his journey at Wetrocloud is a shared mission with his co-founders: making artificial intelligence accessible, practical, and truly transformative.
A Student Problem Turned Global Vision
The Wetrocloud story began in August 2024, when Divine Erhomonsele, Jeremiah Obobairibhojie, and Michael Aluko who are all co-founders of Wetrocloud, started brainstorming ways to solve a shared frustration for students: making sense of course materials, writing research papers, and managing assignments with smarter AI tools.
Their journey, marked by collaboration and relentless problem-solving, yielded the first version of our product, Didi AI. While Didi AI didn’t hit the mark with accuracy, it inspired a bigger vision: building infrastructure so developers and automation engineers wouldn’t have to reinvent the wheel to build reliable AI workflows.
Afolabi became part of the team in December 2024, helping to amplify Wetrocloud’s reach and impact across global markets. In February 2025, Einstein Ebereonwu, their last co-founder joined to strengthen their ability to scale, focusing on data-driven insights that would guide both their product and business direction.
Wetrocloud AI Infrastructure
By working closely together and leveraging their backgrounds across Fintech, SaaS, and AI, we built Wetrocloud, an AI Infra platform offering data extraction and RAG APIs. Their work has empowered over 300 developers and handled more than 12,500 API calls in just nine months.
But their ambition stretched even further. In June 2025, They identified a new gap: the friction in writing meaningful documents. with AI. This seed of an idea grew into Tabs Editor, their second product, designed to help anyone research, write, and edit documents intelligently.
Introducing Tabs Editor: Writing with AI, Reimagined
They launched Tabs Editor on September 30, 2025, and it’s already helping over 500 students and professionals save more than five hours a day.
What connects both Wetrocloud and Tabs Editor is their core belief: AI’s true power lies in serving humans. They exist to give builders the tools to create amazing products, and to empower everyday users with smarter ways to work.
