Horizon Egypt Developments has signed a strategic partnership with e& Business, the enterprise arm of e& Egypt, to design and deploy advanced digital infrastructure for its flagship SA’ADA New Cairo project. The deal, announced as unit handovers begin, aims to create a fully integrated smart city ecosystem that sets a higher standard for residential communities in Egypt.
The collaboration will deliver Triple Play services, high-performance fiber-optic networks, and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions across the development. These systems will be built into the project from the early stages of construction through full operations, creating a unified platform that connects residents, services, and facilities. Horizon selected e& Business for its track record in telecommunications and digital transformation, pairing the developer’s urban planning expertise with the operator’s technical capabilities.
SA’ADA New Cairo is a mixed-use residential community located in a prime area of New Cairo. Horizon Egypt, an Emirati-backed developer led by Sheikh Majid Bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, has positioned the project as a modern, lifestyle-focused destination. The partnership reflects a broader industry shift in Egypt and the region, where real estate developers increasingly treat digital infrastructure as a core amenity rather than an afterthought.
By embedding connectivity and smart systems from the outset, the companies aim to deliver seamless services such as high-speed internet, entertainment packages, intelligent building management, and connected home features. Officials framed the agreement as a natural extension of Emirati investment and expertise supporting Egypt’s urban expansion and digital transformation goals.
e& Business will oversee the design and implementation of the communications and digital backbone. Digital services are expected to be ready in line with the project’s operational timeline, targeted for the end of 2026. The partnership also creates a potential template that could be applied to future Horizon developments in Egypt and beyond.
