Checkout.com has entered a strategic partnership with Nahdi Medical Company, one of Saudi Arabia’s largest pharmacy and healthcare retail chains, to power and optimise its digital payment infrastructure across Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

The collaboration, announced on June 2, 2026, sees Checkout.com selected as Nahdi’s primary payment service provider. The integration will support Nahdi’s growing e-commerce platforms with advanced payment processing technology, aiming to deliver faster, more reliable, and seamless checkout experiences for customers.

Through this partnership, Checkout.com will provide Nahdi with a full suite of payment solutions, including local and international card acquiring, alternative payment methods popular in the GCC, and advanced fraud prevention tools. The integration is designed to boost conversion rates, reduce cart abandonment, and support Nahdi’s ambitious digital expansion plans.

Nahdi operates hundreds of stores across Saudi Arabia and has been rapidly scaling its online presence as part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 push toward greater digitalisation of retail and healthcare services.

This deal is significant for both parties. For Checkout.com, it strengthens its footprint in the fast-growing Saudi and GCC e-commerce market. For Nahdi, working with a global payments leader like Checkout.com is expected to improve payment performance, customer satisfaction, and overall digital sales growth.

The partnership comes as Saudi Arabia continues to experience strong e-commerce momentum, driven by a young, tech-savvy population and increasing adoption of online shopping for pharmaceuticals, health products, and daily essentials.

Checkout.com has been actively expanding its presence in the Middle East, having previously supported major regional retailers. This latest collaboration with Nahdi further cements its position as a key player helping large merchants modernise their digital payment capabilities in line with rising consumer expectations.

The two companies plan to roll out additional features in the coming months, including enhanced local payment methods and data-driven optimisation tools to further improve checkout performance.

This partnership reflects the broader trend of global payment platforms teaming up with established regional retailers to capture the significant growth opportunities in the GCC’s digital economy.
