PayAngel has expanded its collaboration with Visa to enhance cross-border payment capabilities, enabling faster, more efficient, and reliable international transfers across the continent.

The partnership leverages Visa Direct and Currencycloud technology to strengthen PayAngelโ€™s multicurrency accounts and global payout infrastructure. This integration allows users to send money to multiple African countries with improved speed, transparency, and competitive exchange rates.

PayAngel, a cross-border payments platform built with a focus on migrant needs, enables individuals and businesses to send remittances and make commercial payments from markets such as the UK, US, Canada, and Europe to recipients in countries including Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, and others across Africa.

The expanded Visa collaboration improves settlement times and reduces friction for both consumer remittances and business payouts. Users benefit from seamless transfers directly to bank accounts, mobile wallets, and Visa endpoints in supported markets.

This development comes as demand for efficient cross-border payments continues to rise across Africa, driven by growing diaspora remittances, e-commerce, and intra-African trade. PayAngel aims to address longstanding challenges such as high fees, slow processing times, and limited transparency that have historically affected international money transfers.

The fintech company has been expanding its footprint in Africa, recently securing an Enhanced Payment Service Provider (PSP) license and advancing regulatory approvals in markets such as Kenya. The deepened Visa partnership forms a key part of its strategy to build robust infrastructure for both personal and enterprise payments.

As digital payment adoption accelerates across the continent, collaborations like this are helping to connect African markets more effectively to the global financial system. PayAngelโ€™s focus on low-cost, reliable transfers positions it to serve the large volume of remittances flowing into Africa each year.

The enhanced capabilities are now available to PayAngel users, with expectations of further market expansions and product improvements in the coming months. This move reflects the growing maturity of African fintech solutions in delivering globally competitive payment services.
