\nNaked, Ajanaku in his first state,

Taking what wasn’t his, respect and honor lost,
\nA lying spirit whispers his soul’s heavy cost.
\nA ruler meant for greatness, now a tyrant feared,
\nHis legacy, a caution, in whispered tales veered.<\/p>\n
The river goddess has something to say yet but none
\nThe forest spirit dances in disguise, Ajanaku is gone
\nThe sky priest looked down for judgment
\nHis soul waited for rest, Ajanaku is done<\/p>\n
Rest in the square, the night child is resting,
\nThe cloud bears no anger as if nothing is lost.
\nThe throne seeks no heir, for he’s no fitting,
\nA crown of thorns, his hubris’ unforgiving cost.<\/p>\n
Wake up, wake up, it’s morning
\nBut He’s on his resting night
\nWake up, wake up, his mother’s womb is mourning
\nA fainting lion before the congregation sight<\/p>\n
This is the best end, silence greeted his fall,
\nA relief whispered among villagers, one and all.
\nYet, this tale’s echo, a lesson it imparts,
\nPride and power dance, a warning to all hearts.<\/p>\n
We weave this not as a tale of gloom or glory sought,
\nBut a reminder, within us, the same battles are fought.
