Amazon’s Prime Video has launched a new vertical video feature called Clips, similar to short-form feeds on TikTok. The update helps users quickly discover moments from movies and TV shows on their phones. It follows similar moves by Netflix and Disney+ as streaming services adapt to how people watch on mobile.

The Clips feed appears on the Prime Video mobile home page. Users can scroll through short vertical videos that highlight exciting or funny parts of different titles. Tapping a clip opens it full screen, where they can swipe to the next one.

From each clip, viewers can choose to watch the full movie or series, add it to their watchlist, like it, or share it. The feature started as a test for NBA highlights and now includes content from a wider range of shows and films available on Prime Video.

It is currently rolling out to select users in the United States on iOS, Android, and Fire tablets. Amazon says the full experience will reach everyone on these devices this summer. Users need the latest version of the app to see it.

Many people now spend time watching short videos on their phones. Streaming platforms are adding vertical feeds to make it easier for users to find new content without searching through rows of posters. Netflix recently launched its own Clips feature, and Disney+ introduced something similar earlier this year.

The new Clips feed is now available for early users in the US, with wider access expected soon. It gives Prime Video subscribers another quick and easy way to explore entertainment on the go.
