Nigerian fintech company Paga is expanding its financial services business through a new partnership with blockchain infrastructure startup TBook, a move that will allow users to invest in tokenised real world assets directly through Paga\u2019s ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership connects Paga\u2019s payments and compliance infrastructure with TBook\u2019s blockchain powered investment marketplace, giving consumers and businesses access to digital versions of traditional assets, including fixed income products and selected private market investments. The announcement marks one of Paga\u2019s most significant moves beyond digital payments as it broadens its wealth and investment offering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expansion reflects a wider trend in fintech, where companies are increasingly looking beyond payments to build comprehensive financial platforms. Rather than relying solely on transaction fees, firms are introducing investment products, lending services, and wealth management tools to deepen customer engagement and diversify revenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Paga, the strategy builds on years of investment in financial infrastructure. The company\u2019s payments business processed around $12 billion in transaction value during 2025, giving it a large distribution network that can now support digital investment products alongside payment services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
