{"id":2751,"date":"2024-04-10T22:42:41","date_gmt":"2024-04-10T22:42:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/villpress.com\/?p=2751"},"modified":"2024-08-19T13:02:37","modified_gmt":"2024-08-19T13:02:37","slug":"ajanaku-by-sebastian-hills","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/villpress.com\/de\/ajanaku-by-sebastian-hills\/","title":{"rendered":"Ajanaku by Sebastian Hills"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man, divine and mortal threads intertwine,<br \/>\nAjanaku stood, a blend of earth and divine shrine.<br \/>\nFrom a prideful deity&#8217;s favor, his life took its shape,<br \/>\nUnder the moon&#8217;s soft glow, a future none could escape.<\/p>\n<p>Everything in their first state,<br \/>\nNoise has polluted the palace gate.<br \/>\nNaked, Ajanaku in his first state,<br \/>\n&#8220;Let&#8217;s bear our name in our best fate.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Gifted with powers, from the sky, forests, and rivers,<br \/>\nA favored son, in the gods&#8217; eyes, he did gleam.<br \/>\nYet, the gift turned curse, as pride corroded his heart,<br \/>\nFrom the virtuous path, he chose to depart.<\/p>\n<p>Tout of a son, &#8220;the king tear in tears,<br \/>\nWaste in my name, the king fear in fears.<br \/>\nLet my heart bear the weight, the king speaks in fame,<br \/>\nLet my enemy rejoice,&#8221; the king proud in shame.<\/p>\n<p>Taking what wasn&#8217;t his, respect and honor lost,<br \/>\nA lying spirit whispers his soul&#8217;s heavy cost.<br \/>\nA ruler meant for greatness, now a tyrant feared,<br \/>\nHis legacy, a caution, in whispered tales veered.<\/p>\n<p>The river goddess has something to say yet but none<br \/>\nThe forest spirit dances in disguise, Ajanaku is gone<br \/>\nThe sky priest looked down for judgment<br \/>\nHis soul waited for rest, Ajanaku is done<\/p>\n<p>Rest in the square, the night child is resting,<br \/>\nThe cloud bears no anger as if nothing is lost.<br \/>\nThe throne seeks no heir, for he&#8217;s no fitting,<br \/>\nA crown of thorns, his hubris&#8217; unforgiving cost.<\/p>\n<p>Wake up, wake up, it&#8217;s morning<br \/>\nBut He&#8217;s on his resting night<br \/>\nWake up, wake up, his mother&#8217;s womb is mourning<br \/>\nA fainting lion before the congregation sight<\/p>\n<p>This is the best end, silence greeted his fall,<br \/>\nA relief whispered among villagers, one and all.<br \/>\nYet, this tale&#8217;s echo, a lesson it imparts,<br \/>\nPride and power dance, a warning to all hearts.<\/p>\n<p>We weave this not as a tale of gloom or glory sought,<br \/>\nBut a reminder, within us, the same battles are fought.<br \/>\nMay Ajanaku&#8217;s story guide us in the light,<br \/>\nTo choose humility over pride, to make our spirits bright.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ajanaku Summary<\/strong><br \/>\nThe poem tells the story of Ajanaku, a man gifted with divine powers from the gods, which leads him to become proud and misuse his abilities.
