The move significantly lowers the barrier to entry for small merchants, street vendors, freelancers, and micro-enterprises by turning ordinary smartphones into secure payment terminals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through solutions such as Visa Tap to Phone and enhanced software development kits, small businesses can now accept Visa, Mastercard, and other contactless payments by simply using their existing Android smartphones. The technology uses Near Field Communication (NFC) to process secure transactions instantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
