stc Group and Disney+ have announced a collaboration that brings the streaming service to stc customers in Saudi Arabia through the stc tv platform and selected home broadband packages. The partnership aims to simplify access to Disney’s content library while strengthening stc’s entertainment offering.
Under the arrangement, customers on certain Baity fibre plans can include Disney+ among several streaming services at no extra charge. Other stc subscribers can use a “pick and choose” model, selecting two or more services including Disney+, Netflix, Shahid and others and receiving a discount on the combined price. Access is available across multiple devices via stc tv, which aggregates live channels, movies, series, sports and children’s programming.
The collaboration follows stc’s recent launch of a “pay with your number” option for Disney+ in Saudi Arabia, described as a global first for the platform. That feature lets more than 22 million stc customers subscribe using their mobile account, adding a familiar payment route alongside the new package-based offers.
stc tv already positions itself as a content aggregator that reduces the friction of managing multiple streaming subscriptions, logins and billing systems. Adding Disney+ with its catalogue from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Hulu extends that proposition for households seeking a mix of global and regional entertainment.
The move continues a pattern of telco-content partnerships in the Kingdom, where operators bundle streaming services with connectivity packages to improve retention and average revenue per user. For Disney+, distribution through a major local carrier expands reach in a market that has seen rapid growth in digital entertainment demand.
The practical impact will depend on how many Baity customers activate the bundled options and whether the pick-and-choose discounts encourage broader multi-service uptake. For now, the partnership gives stc another premium title in its entertainment portfolio and gives Disney+ a deeper distribution channel inside Saudi Arabia’s largest telecom operator.
